(01) Overview

The project.

Every guide is Tanzanian, licensed, and works with the company year-round rather than per trip, and every enquiry reaches a specialist directly rather than a call centre. That depth needed a site that read as specialist, not generic. We built the site around the operator's actual edge: deep knowledge of one region rather than shallow coverage of a continent, and a live migration tracker as the centrepiece, giving travellers a concrete reason to check back before they book instead of reading the same static itinerary page every other operator runs.

Brief and approach

(02) The brief

The old site ran on a generic WordPress theme with unfinished sections still live, the kind of thing that quietly tells a high-end traveller this operator isn't quite ready for their booking. It wasn't built for search either. No keyword targeting, thin content across the pages that mattered most, and nothing structured for Google to understand what the business actually specialised in. The result was low impressions, almost no clicks from search, and no leads coming through the site at all.

(03) The approach

We designed the site around the "why us" that actually holds up: continuity of guide, depth over breadth, and a direct line to a specialist rather than a booking form into a queue. The build leads with the migration tracker as a functional tool, not a decoration, giving return visitors and undecided travellers a reason to keep the site open across their planning window rather than closing the tab after one visit.

  • Custom WordPress build on the Vanquish safari-operator architecture
  • Northern Circuit itinerary structure
  • Direct-enquiry path built around specialist contact, not a generic contact form
