African Trails Expeditions runs premium wildlife journeys across Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Namibia. Their previous site had grown with the business rather than being built for it: a patchwork of pages that told no coherent story and offered no compelling reason to book direct. We delivered a full custom WordPress site built for the international traveller who arrives knowing what they want and needs only to be convinced that African Trails is the operator to deliver it.
The challenge was not awareness. African Trails had a reputation built over years in the East African market. The challenge was conversion. Too many high-intent visitors were leaving the site without making contact. The booking journey lacked clarity, the design carried no authority, and the site failed to communicate what separates African Trails from the dozens of regional operators competing for the same guest.
We designed the site around three principles: visual authority, booking clarity, and niche conviction. The hero experience establishes African Trails as a serious operator immediately, before the visitor has read a word. Every page is structured to reduce friction and move the guest toward a single, well-placed call to action. A custom enquiry system was built to capture itinerary-specific requests, giving the team the context to respond with precision rather than a generic reply.
